SP Cooling Technologies was contracted by PCS Nitrogen to replace their existing 6 cell cooling tower at their facility in Lima, OH. SPX Cooling Technologies subcontracted with Hayden Wrecking to perform the demolition of the existing cooling tower during a plant shutdown. The project schedule allowed 5 days for demolition and cleanup. New piping was installed along the length of the existing cooling tower prior to demolition which limited access to one end to perform demolition and cleanup.
