Rentech Nitrogen contracted with Hayden Wrecking to dismantle the existing 140′ tall Prill Tower within their operating facility. The Prill Tower was aluminum construction and was surrounded by operating facilities and structures that were to remain in place. Hayden Wrecking utilized a lattice boom crane and its trained demolition craftsmen to dismantle the Prill Tower in sections. The sections were further dismantled utilizing a standard size demolition excavator equipped with a rotating shear then loaded into recycling containers.
